SymfonyLab re-launch

Dear SymfonyLab readers and members,

We kept silence for couple of years for many reasons which we won’t echo here. But all this time there was still strong visitors base and references to our articles from multiple resources, even though most of our articles were dedicated to Symfony 1.x.x branches. Thanks to all of you guys, you are great!

Now after some discussions here in our team, we’ve decided to make this site relaunch.

We did not work out the exact plan yet but we tend to think that we will extend range of PHP frameworks which we are going to review, discuss on our pages. During last year the spectrum of PHP frameworks has risen significantly and we have had a chance to work in production and in wild with the best ones. And ironically, even though our resource is called “SymfonyLab”, we are ready to recognize that at this point there are many alternatives which may fit your purposes better than Symfony especially for small to middle class applications. I’d mention CodeIgniter and Laravel among other ones.

At this point we are open to all ideas and proposals from developers and companies who want to participate and support us in any manner. So keep watch and email us your feedback to info @
